True freshman Samaje Perine is the new holder of the FBS record for most rushing yards in a game. Perine broke free on touchdown runs of 66, 49, 34, 33, and 27 yards, and averaged 11.7 yards per carry. Perine breaks Melvin Gordon’s record of 408 yards, which was just set last week.
