Timing is everything when it comes to jokes. Yesterday on a US Airways flight from Philadelphia to Punta Cana a dumb person sneezed on the flight and joked that he had been in Africa. Because of the Ebola panic the flight was boarded by medical personnel in hazmat suits. Catch the video below to see how it went down:

Words from a passenger on the plane: “Once we landed in Punta Cana we were told by the flight attendants that there was a situation and that a passenger may have been in Africa and had Ebola. She was certain it was a hoax but they did not take any chances and had a full hazmat crew board the plane and take the passenger off. It was later confirmed that the passenger was never in Africa and after 2hrs we were finally able to get off the plane.”
The flight attendant didn’t seem to find this joke funny at all either. “I’ve been doing this 36 years. I think the man that did this is an idiot.”
Words of wisdom for the person who sneezed next time: Just say, “Excuse Me” and keep it moving.
