#2 Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant finally got his just due last year, as he won the 2013 NBA MVP award. His season was sensational, as the D.C. native averaged 32 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists per night. The Thunder also were dominant in the regular season, winning 50 games. Thunder fans suffered a huge let down last year as injuries derailed their chances at the chip. OKC has all the pieces of a championship team, but staying healthy has been a thorn in their side for the past three years. Durant will start the year out on the shelf with a “Jones Fracture” on his foot. Luckily youth is on his side and with rest and proper rehab Durant will return to an elite level before the season ends.
