#1 Lebron James
LeBron is the best basketball player in the world. James had it clicking on all cylinders last season. The Akron native averaged 27 points per game while shooting a whopping 56% from the field. Amidst the high scoring total LeBron still managed to keep teams honest as his 6.4 assists per game was the highest amongst small forwards in the NBA. A lot has changed for LeBron, as he went back to Cleveland via free agency.
While James was able to win two championships in four years in Miami, he was unable to bring a title to Ohio. The Cavs went all out to surround him with the right pieces, as they acquired All-Star forward Kevin Love to combine with Kyrie Irving and LeBron to make the new Big-Three. The combination of LeBron’s polished skillset plus his hunger to bring a chip back to Cleveland should propel him to a career year.
