Recently a set of cops got called to an area about a disturbance and picked a random black guy on the corner as their target. The maintenance man was in town to do work for an attorney. The lawyer caught wind of the worker being harassed and came outside to his defense.
The incompetent cop was in the wrong part of town and stopped the guy for no reason. Rather than admitting she was wrong and apologizing to the gentlemen the cop kept shelling out weak excuses for her stop. The attorney ripped her a new one for not being able to find the correct house and picking on members of the public. The attorney’s closing argument to the cop really hit home: “Just because he’s black, doesn’t mean he’s here to rob a house.”
