Sick and tired of the poor conditions within his home, a Rockville native identified as “Carlos” set the home and fire and watched it burn. Carlos then walks over the local news covering the scene and admits to the crime on live television:
Carlos shared his reasons for setting the house ablaze during his brief interview with ABC:
Question #1: “How did you do it?”
“I just poured gasoline on the floor, set it on fire, went to grab a drink, and came back,” said “Carlos.”
Question #2: “How did setting this fire help you?”
“Just so you [the media] could get here … for your attention,” “Carlos” added.
Question #3: “Why didn’t you report the alleged deplorable conditions to police first?”
“I did. I did,” “Carlos” replied, adding no one took his complaints seriously.
That house must have been in really bad condition for “Carlos” to trade a jail cell for it.
